Yorkshire Carnegie are one of the fourteen clubs participating in Project Rugby across England. The initiative is designed by England Rugby to increase participation in under- represented communities.  More specifically, Asian minority ethnic people from lower socio-economic backgrounds as well as disabled people from the ages of fourteen to twenty-four.

The project aims to engage over 12,000 participants by Summer 2018, this will be done by providing accessible rugby opportunities in over 200 communities within the UK. Following these opportunities, the aim to for these players is to then transition into grassroot rugby clubs.
