The busy schedule of activity on both the South Stand and Main Stand continued last week.

The South Stand construction continues at pace with the steel and pre-cast concrete sections slotting into place whilst drainage works continue both behind the stand and on pitch side. Preparations have now begun for the concrete concourse areas underneath the stand. High above those works, the roof safety measures are being completed in readiness for roof installation.

Opposite the South Stand, keen viewers of the live SMUK.co.uk webcams will have spotted a great deal of preparation work still going on for the North Stand. With the stand sandwiched in between both playing surfaces, work on the stands foundations are obviously a huge part of the project at this stage for such a large stand.

Drainage works have continued this week and we have commence preparations for the platform for the temporary stand and other temporary measures that will be in place for the new Leeds Rhinos season. The temporary stand will not be used for Yorkshire Carnegie’s last three home games and we will continue to use just the Carnegie Stand for all games this season.
