After the Christmas and New Year break, the construction work at Emerald Headingley Stadium has continued this week with progress continuing on both the South Stand and Main Stand.

The installation of the steelwork and the pre-cast concrete on the South Stand is now heading towards the half way line with two cranes working each day on the process.

The roof installation preparation works have commenced with safety netting, temporary roof handrails and an access stair tower installed.

Drainage works continue across the South Stand site whilst work has commenced on the pitch side with service ducts installed and the terrace units continue to be sealed.

On the Main Stand work continues to lay the foundations whilst the drainage works also continue.

Remember you can follow the construction work live on our official YouTube channel with our three SMUK.co.uk webcams running every day live from the site.
