Although there is no first team action for Yorkshire Carnegie this week, with a break in the Greene King IPA Championship fixtures, the club’s Academy players will be getting valuable experience with their loan clubs this weekend

Lewis Wilson and Sam Wolstenholme who have both featured for Yorkshire Carnegie in their recent British and Irish Cup game will be back with their loan club, Hull Ionians, for their game against Cambridge.

Harry Davey and Oli Fox will be available for selection for Huddersfield as they look to return to winning ways in their home fixture against Blaydon, following their defeat to Chester – a game that saw Davey cross for a try and score two conversions and a penalty.

Elsewhere Tom Mann will play at Wharfedale against Sedgley Park.  Wharfedale are aiming to turn their season around, having picked up just one win against Sheffield in their opening nine games in National 2 League North.  Charlie Capps will also be hoping to get some more minutes under his belt as he looks to return to full fitness from injury by playing some part in a game for Otley against South Leicester.

Earlier in the week,  Elliott Ward and Harry Newborn, who came off the bench in Carnegie’s league game against Bedford Blues, were involved with the Leeds Beckett’s win over Exeter.
