The Yorkshire Carnegie stakeholder forum will be held on Friday 17th November before the Bristol game at Emerald Headingley Stadium. This stakeholder forum will give the opportunity to introduce key academy coaches and support personnel to the public and give detail on the academy pathway in Yorkshire as well as direction for the season and beyond. The evening will be led by academy manager Ben Lazenby and the focus of the evening will be to provide insight into key stages of the academy pathway and allow attendees to increase their understanding of the opportunities that exists for junior players to progress into the Yorkshire Carnegie Academy, and ultimately towards a professional rugby career. Topics covered will include:

– Academy Pathway

– England Rugby Developing Player Programme (ERDPP)

– Junior Development Squad (Player Development Groups (PDG) at U15 & U16)

– Junior Academy (PDG/EAP at U18)

– Senior Academy (post 18 EAPs)

– Carnegie Adolescent Rugby Research (CARR) at Leeds Beckett University

– Coach Development Programme
