Yorkshire Carnegie and local digital agency Go Media have joined forces in a new digital partnership that will aim to raise the profile of the Greene King IPA Championship club and rugby union in general in the Yorkshire community.

As the official digital partner of Yorkshire Carnegie, Go Media will work alongside them to help develop new and exciting ways to grow rugby across the county using innovative and digital technology.

Additionally, Go Media pledge to give 20% of the cost of any work done from a person related to the club, this can be their fans, sponsors or even referrals, back to the club to reinvest.

Paul Norton, Managing Director at Go Media, commented, “As a long-term rugby union fan and a sponsor of Yorkshire Carnegie, I regular attend matches and enjoy the matchday experience. I have been a fan since the Leeds Tykes days and I am excited about the vision the club’s shareholders have for the future of the club. For the past three years, Go Media has sponsored Carnegie players and in the last two years became an associate sponsor with our brand featuring on the team’s home and away shirts.

“In addition to our partnership with Yorkshire Carnegie, we also have a good relationship with Yorkshire RFU and have built their new website for them, so a partnership with Carnegie seemed very fitting. I’m really excited to get the ball rolling with Yorkshire Carnegie so we can back Jimmy Lowes and the boys and happy that Go Media is able to give back to the club.”

As part of the partnership, Go Media will be working on a number of new projects with Yorkshire Carnegie and will also be finding innovative ways to help push the Carnegie and YRFU campaigns.

The Head of Media and PR at Yorkshire Carnegie, Phil Daly commented, “It is fantastic to work with an agency that are so passionate about Yorkshire Carnegie and Rugby Union in our county. Having met with Paul and his team at their headquarters in Wakefield it is clear that they are excited about delivering something special for the club’s supporters and, importantly, enable us to attract new fans to the club as well.”
