Biography

Yorkshire Carnegie appointed former Gloucester and Sale coach Bryan Redpath as their new Head Coach on a two year contract in March 2015. He made a winning start to his career at Yorkshire Carnegie, securing back to back victories against Plymouth and Jersey.

Originally from Galashiels, the scrum half played professionally for Melrose, Narbonne and Sale Sharks, winning 60 caps for Scotland, captaining the team on 26 occasions, and appearing in three World Cups in 1995, 1999 and 2003.

He began his coaching career with Gloucester before returning to his former club, Sale Sharks, in 2012. He originally joined Sale Sharks as a player in 2000 and captained the side to their first ever final victory in 2002 when the Sharks won the Parker Pen Shield and repeated that success three years later.
