Yorkshire Carnegie will head to Kingsholm to face Aviva Premiership side Gloucester in pre-season on Friday 25 August.

The game will kick off the Bank Holiday weekend and is part of a Friday evening double-header on Friday 25 August at Kingsholm Stadium.

Gloucester will firstly take on Championship runners-up Yorkshire Carnegie, followed by Pro12 Champions Scarlets in an exciting and testing evening, one week before the season gets underway for real.

The double header fixture with Yorkshire Carnegie and Scarlets will be one of the highlights of Charlie Sharples’ Testimonial Year for 2017-18 and could see former Carnegie skipper Jacob Rowan come up against his old club.

The Friday evening fixtures will form part of a whole festival of rugby across the Bank Holiday Weekend with the Gloucester Rugby Beach Weekender set to take place at Gloucester Quays, with a whole host of activities, rugby and entertainment once again lined up. More details will follow in due course.

With the Friday evening double-header designated as Charlie Sharples’ testimonial fixtures, these games will be all pay with the ticket price covering both matches.

As this is a Testimonial fixture this game will be sold by Gloucester on behalf of Charlie Sharples’ Testimonial committee and a percentage of the proceeds will go to Pied Piper, the charity Charlie has chosen to support throughout his Testimonial year.

Kick off times and ticket prices for the double-header to be confirmed.
