Yorkshire Carnegie have announced that six players have agreed new one year contracts with the club for the 2017-18 Greene King IPA Championship season.

James Lowes will take over as Head Coach next season from Bryan Redpath after the former Scottish international completed his time at the club this week following the Greene King IPA Championship Final loss to London Irish.

Rising stars Max Wright and Brandon Staples have both earned new deals after impressing this season whilst full back Chris Elder has agreed a contract extension having joined mid-season from London Welsh.

Prop James Thraves and centre Tom Casson has also agreed new contracts whilst longest serving player Richard Beck has committed himself to Yorkshire Carnegie for another season.
