Yorkshire Regiment Presentation

The Yorkshire Regiment Trophy was introduced at the start of the 2012-13 season when all three Yorkshire sides were competing against each other in the Championship – Yorkshire Carnegie, Doncaster Knights and Rotherham Titans. It was approved by the RFU Championship Clubs Committee as a venture to aid the development of Rugby Union in the North of England, and the Yorkshire Regiment kindly collaborated with the clubs as a means of strengthening the Yorkshire connection.

The six meetings between the three sides each season not only earn vital league points but are also entered into a Yorkshire mini league with the top team being presented with the Yorkshire Regiment Trophy once all the games are completed.

We’re delighted to be presented with the trophy at the game tomorrow. Look out for the presentation taking place pre match tomorrow on the pitch.

Pitchero Star Kicker Final
We’ve reached the Final of the Pitchero Star Kicking Competition! Tomorrow night Littleborough and Knaresborough go head-to-head in the Grand Final, with one kicker walking away with £5000 for his club!

James Moorland from Knaresborough and George Roberts from Littleborough must both kick 5 balls from the 22 yard line in an attempt to convert as many of the 5 balls in the shortest time possible. Good luck to both contestants!
