We are currently looking to recruit a Stadium Operations Assistant (Grounds), the successful candidate will be based within the Stadium Operations team at Headingley Carnegie Stadium.

As part of the Stadium Management Team you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the stadium. You will lead by example and have excellent communication and planning skills. You must be flexible and be prepared to work a variety of shifts to suit the needs of the business

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

•To be responsible for the cleanliness of the stadium grounds on a daily basis, this will include pre-match preparation and a post-match clean.
•Liaise with external agencies, such as Waste Management and post-match operatives.
•To check that all external areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
•To communicate with Stadium Facilities Manager on a daily basis.
•To ensure that equipment is in safe and working order.
•To ensure that supplies are kept up to appropriate levels
•To report any new faults to Stadium Facilities Manager via the maintenance request system
•To be able to communicate well in written or verbal format.
•To ensure that all COSHH legislation is adhered to.
•To follow Manual Handling requirements for lifting heavy loads.
•To be able to operate cleaning machinery e.g. Power Washers, Gum Remover, Gutter Cleaner
•To undertake the gardening tasks in the Stadium which includes the upkeep of the Memorial Garden.
•To be able to complete the daily and weekly cleaning schedule.
•To carry out any other reasonable duties within the function of the job.
•Due to the physical nature of the role it requires a good level of fitness.

This is a full-time role with a requirement to work weekends, early mornings and match days. The salary for the role will be dependent on your skills, experience and current qualifications.
