Yorkshire Carnegie Head Coach Bryan Redpath has been forced to make three changes to the team announced for Sunday’s table topping clash with London Irish at Headingley Carnegie.

Scrum half Alex Davies has been replaced by Max Green in the starting line up and his place on the bench is taken by Stevie McColl. Tom Casson, who was due to return from injury has not recovered in time and is replaced on the bench by Oli Goss. Finally, prop Matt Beesley, who joined the club this week on loan from Northampton Saints replaces Lewis Boyce with Charlie Beech now starting at loose head prop.

New loan signing Tom Catterick will make his debut for Yorkshire Carnegie this Sunday in the clash with London Irish at Headingley Carnegie, kick off 3pm.

Catterick arrived this week from Newcastle Falcons and is immediately drafted into the side after Joe Ford was ruled out with a knee injury. Ford has started every Greene King IPA Championship game so far this season but will miss out this week. Winger Tom Arscott will make his home debut after playing his first game for the club at Jersey Reds last Friday.

Bryan Redpath had originally made four changes to the starting line from last week’s loss at Jersey Reds. Full back Chris Elder returns from injury to replace Stevie McColl in the only other change in the backs.

In the forwards, Mike Mayhew starts instead of Phil Nilsen at hooker whilst Mike Myerscough returns to the second row in place of Dean Schofield.
