Yorkshire Carnegie held their first All Girls Rugby Camp during the half term holidays. This saw 25 girls from across the county attend Pontefract RUFC for the one-day camp.
The day started with handling, passing and evasive skills, with the afternoon focused on tackling technique. This was all under the guidance of the Yorkshire Carnegie Community Coaches including Senior Academy players Sam Allan and Tom Bullough.
Lisa McCann, Community Manager commented, “It was a great day and a really good chance for the girls to showcase their existing skills and develop further with our coaches.
“The women and girls game is going from strength to strength and we are delighted to be able to support this growth”.
