Tongan international Sione Faletau is set to make his Yorkshire Carnegie debut this Saturday at London Scottish.

Head Coach Bryan Redpath has made twelve changes to the side that defeated Ealing Trailfinders last Saturday to book their place in the British & Irish Cup quarter final.

Chris Elder returns at full back after being cup tied for the last fortnight whilst Jonah Holmes, Pete Lucock, Joe Ford and Alex Davies all return to the back line, only Tom Casson retains his place from last week. Fly half Warren Seals, who has started at ten in the last two weeks instead of Ford, has joined Aviva Premiership side Wasps for two weeks on loan and will feature for them this weekend against Exeter Chiefs in the Anglo-Welsh Cup.

In the forwards, Phil Nilsen will become only the third player in the club’s history to play 200 games for the club in all competitions following in the footsteps of Rob Rawlinson and Mike Shelley. Sione Faletau will start at tight head prop after gaining international clearance.

Matt Smith joins Ben West in the second row this week whilst Richard Mayhew returns in the back row. Mike Cusack, Ollie Stedman and Charlie Beech are all sidelined by injury. England U20 international Josh Bainbridge will make his first Greene King IPA Championship appearance almost a year to the day since his last, coincidentally against the same opposition, at the same venue. Bainbridge was injured in the 22-20 loss at the Athletic Ground last season and returned to action a fortnight ago in the British & Irish Cup.
