Yorkshire Carnegie will travel to London Irish in the Quarter Final of the British & Irish Cup after the RFU today confirmed the full draw for the last eight of the competition.

Irish and Carnegie are battling it out at the top of the Greene King IPA Championship and will now meet in the knock out stages of the multinational competition.

Irish lost their final pool game against Ospreys Premiership Select at the weekend whilst Yorkshire defeated Ealing Trailfinders but could not overhaul Ealing’s points difference to top the pool and gain a home quarter final.

The three remaining ties are equalling intriguing with an all-Irish clash seeing Munster A, two times winners of the competition, host Ulster Ravens. Ealing Trailfinders reward for winning Pool 5 is to welcome the remaining Welsh side in the competition, Scarlets Premiership Select whilst Jersey Reds host their ‘neighbours’ Cornish Pirates.

The venues and dates are yet to be confirmed however the fixtures will be played on the weekend of  10 – 12 March 2017.
