Members of the Yorkshire Carnegie squad took time out of their schedule to visit children and parents on the Children’s Wards at Leeds General Infirmary to help try and spread some festive cheer.
The players gave out presents and spent time talking to the children and their families during their visit.

Yorkshire Carnegie’s community manager, Lisa McCann said: “The visit to the Children’s ward was so inspiring for all the players and staff. The spirit and courage shown by the children and families is a lesson to us all.
“I would like to thank Jemma and all of the staff at the Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust who have been fantastic in welcoming us and helping to arrange the visit.”

Team manager, Dave Baldwin added: “The players were great I know they have taken a lot away from the visit. This is a small thing we can do to brighten up the day for the children and their parents and make their time in hospital a little easier”
