Yorkshire Carnegie hooker Mike Mayhew said he was happy that the team secured another bonus point win but said there is still plenty the team needs to work on.

Speaking after the game Mayhew said: “It was an interesting game.  I thought we played well at times and other times we let them back in the game.  All in all it is good to get a five point.  We expected Jersey to be a physical side, we did our analyses on them, their maul and set piece was obviously strong so I think we have got a bit of work to do there.  I thought our scrum was alright at times but there are things we need to work on and our maul attack was pretty good as well so some positives and negatives from the game.  We made it harder for ourselves than we needed to at times but we will learn from that and going forward I am sure we will be better for it.”
