Try scoring hero Rob O’Donnell said he was pleased to play his part in Carnegie’s 52-28 win over Bedford by crossing for four tries, but gave credit to his team mates in the forwards for their hard work.
Speaking after the game O'Donnell, who now brings his season tally to ten tries said: "It was good to get back to winning ways, it was a bit of a tough defeat last week. A lot of the lads who played last week hadn't played for a long time so were a bit rusty and lacked match fitness but we worked hard this week and we put in a decent performance to get the win.
"It was good to get over for four tries, it's going well for me this season. A lot of my tries come off the back off mauls so it's the rest of the forward pushing and doing the hard work and I'm just lucky to benefit from that. Two tries came from open play so which was a nice plus for me that doesn't usually happen."
