Charlie Beech returned to action in the defeat at Ealing Trailfinders, making his first appearance since the opening day win at the same ground, and said he felt good after playing for nearly an hour.
Beech has been sidelined with a head injury since the start of the season but was back in the side for the British & Irish Cup clash. Speaking after the game Beech said, "I am feeling good. It is always hard when you are coming back from an injury but I felt pretty good. We felt we were in control and perhaps eased off a bit and you can not afford to do that, especially against an Ealing side that are in good form on a surface that they know very well. I think they got a rocket at half time and came out fired up and showed us how to play on a 4G surface. We had the opportunity when we were on top but we didn't take that chance and they took it with both hands."
