Yorkshire Carnegie hooker Phil Nilsen said the team will be aiming to make improvements following their closely fought game against Nottingham at Headingley.
Nilsen, who played 80 minutes in the game, also praised the visitors following the game. He said: “It was a good win in the end, we ground it out and the game as a whole, in the first half we were pretty good and in the second half it was a bit scrappy. I think the try we scored at the end was good and we scored some good tries in the game, but there are few things we have to go back and look and the video to work on to make sure we close out the game a little bit better.
We missed some line outs at crucial times which I think swung momentum and there were a couple of easy turn overs and knock ons, which took the pressure off Nottingham. They hustled really well in the contact and the set piece
