Tickets are on sale from the Yorkshire Carnegie ticket office for this year’s varsity match which takes place at Headingley Carnegie Stadium on Wednesday 5th October, kick off 7pm.

This annual Varsity Day, which sees Leeds Beckett University and the University of Leeds compete in over 50 sporting events, culminates in a rugby union game at Headingley Carnegie Stadium, and last year over 12,000 supporters attended the showpiece event.  Numbers are expected to be even greater this year as Leeds Beckett look to maintain their winning record in the event.

Tickets for the match only are priced at £10 (plus £1 booking fee per ticket) and are available to buy from the Leeds Rugby Store at Headingley Carnegie Stadium, over the phone on 0871 423 1315.

Leeds Beckett University have access to the South Stand only and Leeds University have the Main Stand. Paddock, Carnegie Terrace and West Terrace.

The match kicks off at 7pm and the gates open at 5pm. All supporters must be in the ground by 6.30pm or they will not be allowed entry. Parking is available free of charge in Car Park F on the night and is first come, first served.

The ticket office will be open on match night for collections only. Due to previous match night issues related to ticket collections, this year we will not be allowing any ticket collections after 12noon on Wednesday 5th October. Therefore any tickets booked after 3pm on Friday 30th September will go into collections in retail until 12noon on match day. There is also a print at home option available.

Please note we are selling Rugby only – the ticket package including the night club entry is only available from the Universities themselves.
