Yorkshire Carnegie captain Ryan Burrows believes he and his team mates can take confidence from their performance against Bath and look forward to the remainder of their pre-season programme.

Burrows crossed for a try in the first half to give his side a 14-10 lead at the break against their Aviva Premiership opponent. They held the lead up until after the hour mark but finally lost out to a try from Zach Mercer.

Burrows commented, "I thought Bath threw a lot at us and it was pleasing how we dealt with that. To score two tries apiece is a big boost for us when you look at the quality of our opponent. We have got Wasps to come next week and that will be another big test for us."
