Limited Car Parking is available on a first come, first served basis – there is no extra charge however we recommend where possible to us public transport as Ilkley can be extremely busy on weekends. Parking in Ilkley Town Centre is extremely limited. The centre of Ilkley will be transformed to a continental-style marketplace this weekend for one of the most popular events of the annual Ilkley Summer Festival.

Olives, French cheese and street treats from abroad are again expected to be among the many attractions of the three-day continental street market on The Grove.

The street will become a pedestrian-only area on Saturday, as traders from all over Europe, as well as some from closer to home, set up stall.

Adding to the European street market feel of the event, various musicians and bands will play at the bandstand on The Grove. The market is traditionally one of the best-attended events of the festival, which is now in its eighth year.
There is a small area at the club where there will food and drinks available to purchase including pulled pork and pulled beef sandwiches and real ales from Ilkley Brewery!
Please note that the Iron Bridge, which goes over the Wharfe at Ben Rhydding, will be closed for repairs on Saturday 13th August. It is a convenient way, for cars only, to get to Ilkley Rugby Club without going through the town centre.
If the traffic is heavy, an alternative way if coming into Ilkley from Leeds, is to turn left at the lights at the iron bridge and go up Wheatley Lane, under the bridge, go round to the right and on for a mile into the centre of Ilkley. Turn right just after the station on the right and go down through the traffic lights and down over the bridge to Ilkley Rugby Club on the right.

Alternatively, fans travelling from Leeds can go via Otley, turning onto Weston Lane near Prince Henrys school and follow the road all the way to Ilkley rugby club along the River Wharfe.
