New Yorkshire Carnegie signing Dan Sanderson says he is looking forward to the challenge of helping Yorkshire Carnegie with their promotion aim this season having dropped down from the Aviva Premiership to join the club.

Sanderson joins the club on a two year contract from Worcester Warriors and he revealed he took his time to decide where his next move would be. He commented, "I had a look at my options after Worcester but when I came and saw the set up here at Yorkshire Carnegie, both with the stadium and our training ground at Kirkstall, I knew this was the right decision for me. The club has got a clear ambition to be in the Premiership and hopefully I can play my part in helping us achieve that goal."
