Ryan Burrows believes that experience has shown Yorkshire Carnegie that they must be ready to perform over both legs of the Championship play off semi finals, starting this Sunday at Headingley Carnegie.

Burrows played in both Carnegie's semi final defeats to Newcastle and London Welsh in recent years, in which Carnegie led after the home leg before suffering away defeats and losing out on aggregate.

Looking ahead to Sunday's game, Burrows said, "Sunday's game is obviously massive but when you think back to the games against Newcastle and London Welsh, you know that the job is only half done on Sunday. Credit to Doncaster, they finished in second and have been consistent all season and deserve to be finish where they did. We know it is going to be tough but we are looking forward to the challenge."
