What’s happening on Sunday?
Rugby Turnstiles open at 1pm on Sunday.  We’re celebrating hooker Phil Nilsen’s Testimonial game this week. Nilsen is only the second player in the club's history to be granted a testimonial. The 31-year-old is the longest serving player at the club and is now fourth in the all-time appearance list behind Mike Shelley, Rob Rawlinson and Tom Palmer. Phil is a product of the club's academy and since making his debut in 2006 he has emerged to become a key member of the squad. Phil has recruited some of his team mates to sell raffle tickets around the ground on Sunday. Tickets are £5 each and you could win a Yorkshire Carnegie playing shirt signed by Phil Nilsen, a signed Munster Rugby shirt, a £50 voucher for a meal for two at Trio in Headingley, or a signed copy of Kevin Sinfield’s book, ‘My League Years’.

All ticket proceeds will go to Phil’s Testimonial Fund and the draw will take place at half time so make sure you purchase your tickets before then. You can buy tickets from the Club Shop, Ticket Office or from the players selling them around the ground, or Corporate guests can buy theirs from the Lewis Jones Suite or the Taverners Suite.

We’ve got lots of community clubs taking part in our match day activities including a guard of honour, player escorts and half time teams. We’re welcoming juniors from Ripon U7s and U8s, Wetherby Micros, Dinnington U7s and U8s, Wensleydale U7s-U11s and North Ribblesdale U7s-U15s.

Free face painting will be on offer pre-match in the Yorkshire Carnegie gazebo outside the club shop. As always, our Carnegie mascot Terry the Yorkshire Terrier will be making an appearance before the game and there will be dance performances on the pitch from the Spencer Properties Dance Team.

Make sure you look out for the Satsuma Loans ‘Segment of Time’ taking place in the first half – if Carnegie score a try during this 5 minute window all fans receive a £5 voucher for the Club Shop!

We’ve also got Satsuma Surprise boxes being handed out as free gifts to fans at half time, make sure you look out for the non-playing players who will be handing the giveaways out!

New Ground Regulation
We would request that all fans coming to Headingley Carnegie Stadium consider not bringing any bags into the stadium with them, as this will slow down entry. ALL bags will be searched on entry and tagged, which as a result, entry to the ground will be slowed. We encourage fans to arrive early, with additional searching to be carried out upon entering the stadium. We would like ask that supporters do NOT share your tickets or season cards with anyone, so that they remain secure and the integrity of the ground is maintained.
Thank you for your support throughout the season– we look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
