Yorkshire Carnegie head coach, Bryan Redpath, said his side were disappointed that they had missed out on silverware in the British and Irish Cup but said they had not made the most of their chance in the game.

Speaking after the game Redpath said: “We created opportunities but didn’t take them and fair play to London Welsh they created opportunities and took everyone they had a chance on.  There were a lot of things today that were not as good as we would have liked but  that’s what happens and today was like that and nothing went our way in certain parts.  They put a lot of pressure on certain parts of our game and they benefitted from it.  One of our goals was to get to the final and sadly it hasn’t gone our way but we have still got a game next weekend to focus on.”
