Yorkshire Carnegie flanker Chris Walker believes his team are coming into good form as they aim to secure their play-off place this weekend against London Welsh.

Speaking ahead of the game Walker said: “I think we are hitting good form at the right time of the season.  As a team I think it is important towards the back end of the season when we have got big games coming up, we have a final next week and hopefully we will do a job this week and get through to the play off semi finals.

“We respect London Welsh and think they are a good team and we also understand that it’s a massive opportunity for us to secure that play-off spot.  We are expecting them to have a big pack and will come round the corner hard and have a good set piece.  It will be a very physical game.  The old cliché of taking each game at a time is important because each opposition is so different, we played Bedford last week, who are a very expansive team so if we implemented the same game plan this weekend we would probably come unstuck against a much bigger more physical side."
