Yorkshire Carnegie’s clash with Nottingham Rugby on Sunday 17th April will be televised live on Sky Sports but will now kick off at 3pm.
Sky Sports had initially asked to move the kick off time to 1pm however a scheduling issue has meant that the broadcaster now wants the fixture to go ahead at the original kick off time of 3pm.
Yorkshire Carnegie lost out to Nottingham Rugby earlier in the season at Lady Bay in a dramatic game and this game is set to be vital in the final make up of the crucial top four positions for the play offs. The match is Yorkshire Carnegie's final home game of the regular season and will also see the club celebrate hooker Phil Nilsen's Testimonial.
Nilsen is only the second player in the club's history to be granted a testimonial. The 30-year-old is the longest serving player at the club and is now fourth in the all-time appearance list behind Mike Shelley, Rob Rawlinson and Tom Palmer. He is a product of the club's academy and since making his debut in 2006 he has emerged to become a key member of the squad.
