Yorkshire Carnegie head coach Bryan Redpath said he was proud of his players after seeing them seal their place in the British and Irish Cup Final.
The Yorkshire side scored five tries to set up a Final against London Welsh and speaking after the game Redpath said: “I’m delighted, I’ve stood here in a few occasions and been critical of our last five minutes and today, yes we could have scored at the end, but we weathered the storm on many occasions. In the first half we scored some good tries but we leaked some soft ones too. I’m delighted for everyone involved.
"Jersey were very good and we knew by watching them they were very committed and they put in a great shift as well and added to a great game so they must take a lot of credit from that. We know come the end of April when we go back over there we are in for a tough game.”
