Yorkshire Carnegie hooker Joe Graham said he was pleased to see Carnegie earn a semi-final win against Jersey to send them through to the Final to face London Welsh.

Graham set up Carnegie’s first try for Andy Forsyth and said the team were happy to be on target to achieve one of the aims they set themselves at the start of the season.  Speaking after the game Graham said: “It’s great to get the win today and to get to the Final.  We played some good rugby and scored some good tries.  It was a little bit frustrating at times, with our exiting and things like that, we just need to sharpen up on a few bits of detail and kick on and have a big finish to the end of the season.
“I was pleased with the offload for Forsyth’s try, but I wasn’t so pleased when I got stripped on the 22 when we were exiting. The British and Irish Cup was one of the targets we set ourselves at the start of the season and we are still on track so we need to make sure we keep on pushing and achieve it.”
