A trio of former players will be hoping to knock their old club out of the British & Irish Cup as Glyn Hughes, Harris Casson and Scott Armstrong are named in the Moseley team to face Yorkshire Carnegie this Sunday at Headingley Carnegie, kick off 3pm.

Moseley face the second of back-to-back confrontations with Yorkshire Carnegie on Sunday, the two clubs having been drawn together in the B & I Cup Quarter final. This is the first time the two clubs have faced each other in knock-out competition since the EDF Trophy Final at Twickenham in 2008 when Mose ran out worthy winners, despite the strength of the opposition who went on to win promotion to the Premiership that season.

Last week at Billesley Common the two sides met in the League, with Carnegie winning deservedly by 28-12. Home supporters will have taken some heart from the way in which their team battled from start to finish, contrary to the disappointing display against Ealing the previous week. Indeed, many judges felt that the red and blacks were harshly judged by the referee on several occasions, otherwise the result might have been closer.

With Mose needing every point they can muster from the last League games of the season Kevin Maggs has been forced to omit some players who are carrying injuries from last week's match, and also made some unforced changes. In the pack Tom Warren and Scott Tolmie join Tom Fidler in the front row,  Harry Hone and Will Keenan come into the back row. In the backs, with Greg King and Drew Cheshire both injured, and George Watkins and Sam Olver cup-tied, Scott Armstrong comes into the centre, Louis Roach starts on the wing, and Darren Hudson is at full-back.
