Nearly two years since his last game for the club, Bryan Redpath has confirmed that centre Fred Burdon is set to make his comeback this Sunday against Moseley.

Burdon was the club's player of the year in the 2013-14 season but two Achilles injuries have sidelined him for eighteen months.

Redpath however revealed that he will be given the chance to impress this Sunday in the British & Irish Cup Quarter Final against Moseley at Headingley Carnegie. He said, "Fred is a very impressive person both on and off the field. He has been training with the first team for a number of weeks and this is a good opportunity for him to show what he can do. Obviously before the injury he was a key player here and I am looking forward to seeing how he gets on on Sunday."
