Yorkshire Carnegie Head Coach Bryan Redpath gave credit to Doncaster Knights after they fought back in the dying minutes to secure victory over his side at Castle Park.

Yorkshire had led 28-27 with time running out but the Knights create a chance to cross for a late winning try. Speaking after the game Redpath said, "I thought Doncaster were good value for their win today. They created the chance when the bounce of the ball went their way but you make those chances by what you do over the full eighty minutes. We are disappointed to lose another close game but I thought we were much better in the second half with our execution and we need to take that forward over the next fortnight before we face Bristol at Headingley Carnegie."
