We are currently looking to recruit a driven Head of Retail with a proven track record within the retail sector, who has great commercial awareness and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Currently the department has a turnover of £2 million a year and retail will be a key part of our growth strategy over the next 5 years.
We’re looking for someone with a real passion and enthusiasm for retail, you will need to be a great communicator, well organised and resourceful. You will have extensive knowledge and demonstrate experience of commercial retail operations, you will a proven track record of increasing and sub staining sales.
Responsibilities include:

  • Assist on the implementation of the new Retail Management System.
  • Once in operation, manage the Retail Management System.
  • Manage the E-Commerce Webstore.
  • Ensure Webstore orders are sent in a timely and efficient manner.
  • You will be responsible for the production of financial reports, by analysing sale figures.
  • Forecast future retail sale figures.
  • Assist with the negotiation of pricing, helping to decide which products to launch and which to drop and signing off product samples.
  • You will be responsible for the production of stock reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Managing stock levels and make key decisions on stock control.
  • You will be responsible for the implementation of the retail communications plan and strategy.
  • Analysis and interpret trends to help facilitate future planning.
  • Organise special promotions, displays and events.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail/sport industry, understand forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring our competitors.
  • Working closely with the ‘Heads of Dept’ group on strategic matters
  • Work in conjunction with the Head of Customer Experience.
  • Manage and motivate the retail team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
  • Conduct performance reviews and set objectives for the retail staff members.
  • Key part of events team on match days and all fans events.

This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, with a requirement to work match days which may fall on weekends or evenings. The salary for the role is dependent on your skills, experience and current qualifications.
