Yorkshire Carnegie head coach Bryan Redpath said it was great to see his side get back on track by securing a five point win against Cornish Pirates.

Carnegie bounced back from defeat away against London Scottish a week earlier with hard earned win at Headingley Carnegie.  Speaking after the game Redpath said: “We mixed up a bit of our game and scored some good tries and that was important.  I think the middle part of the game was frustrating because we kicked some poor ball away, but I am delighted with the win, Cornish Pirates have had a good run of form and they came up here and played.  We played for a spell with 14 men which is never easy so the boys had to come through a lot today and they did that and got the win.”
