Yorkshire Carnegie head coach Bryan Redpath said he was delighted with the performance from his side after they earned a 56-7 win against London Scottish in the British and Irish Cup.

Speaking after the game Redpath said: "It was important for us to get back on some kind of track. Today we played in the right areas, I thought the half backs and the back three managed field possession really well.  A little bit of confidence was needed, it's not been much that's been missing and hopefully that performance allows us to kick on and work hard again.

"The big thing is that it is a collective effort, that whole thing of playing in the right areas and then captalising on it and we haven't been capitalising in previous weeks, but today we did,  So we need to look at what we did differently and this week we have had a lot of honest truth words spoken to one another because we are eleven games down and we have lost too many, all being close, but our own actions haven't been good enough, but today the boys were outstanding.  It was difficult conditions because it was heavy but the boys were great and I am delighted with the players today."
