Yorkshire Carnegie centre James Fitzpatrick has been ruled out for the season after suffering a serious knee injury.

The centre had made six appearances this season, scoring two tries, but will now miss the remainder of the season after suffering an injury to his ACL in training recently. 

Commenting on the news Director of Rugby Chris Gibson said, "We are all disappointed for James. He had made a strong start to the new season however this is a big blow for him. Our medical staff will be giving him the best possible treatment and helping him make a full recovery."
