Yorkshire Carnegie hooker Joe Graham has received a six game ban following a RFU Disciplinary hearing and will not be available for selection until the Munster A clash on 17th January.
Graham had already been banned for four weeks following an internal disciplinary last week and that will now run alongside the RFU ban.
Graham pleaded guilty to the charge of conduct prejudicial to the interests of the Union and/or the Game, contrary to RFU Rule 5.12 and gave an unreserved apology for the incident which took place in British & Irish Cup game against Munster A at Kinsale. In the 34th minute of the match, Graham made contact with the referee at the tail of a lineout as the ball broke clear.
Graham has already written to English referee Fergus Kirby to apologise for his actions.
