Yorkshire Carnegie head coach Bryan Redpath gave credit to London Welsh following their win at Headingley Carnegie, but said his side would not put their heads down and would dig in and respond to the defeat.
Speaking after the defeat to London Welsh, Redpath said: “I am disappointed, I thought London Welsh deserved to win the game, they were probably a bit more tactically smarter than we were and I thought in first half we made too many errors in our own half and credit to Welsh they capitalised on it. Across the board some of our set piece didn't function and some of our back stuff didn't complement it, but that's what happens sadly and we have got to take it on the chin.
“We have got to accept the defeat and dig in, we are in it altogether, as much me as anyone. We will have a look at ourselves over the weekend, including myself and see what we can do next week and what we can be better and smarter at and go hard for a win next week.”
