New signing Kevin Sinfield admitted he was pleased to finally pull on a Yorkshire Carnegie shirt having made his much anticipated first appearance for fifteen minutes at the end of the 32-10 win over the Ospreys.

The game had been switched on the morning of the game from the waterlogged Huddersfield YMCA pitch to Headingley Carnegie and Sinfield admitted that had helped him in the build up. He commented, "It was special to be here at Headingley Carnegie. I know every inch of the place and the dressing room feels like home so it was nice that we got to play here. I wasn't really nervous coming into the game just looking forward to getting out there. I want to play and get as much game time as I can but I appreciate how Bryan has managed me and the other fly halves and I think that is very healthy for us as a group."
