Yorkshire Carnegie Head Coach Bryan Redpath admitted he was bitterly disappointed to lose out at Bedford but says the damage was done in the first half when his side only led 14-0 at the break.

Speaking after the game Redpath said, "We only came in 14-0 up at half time and I didn't think that was a big enough lead with the wind advantage that we had. Bedford used that well in the second half and made it difficult for us to get away from our line. We should have closed out the game and that is something we will need to learn."

Redpath also confirmed that Christian Georgiou had gone to hospital from the ground after dislocating his shoulder at the start of the second half.
