Despite scoring five tries himself, youngster Josh Bainbridge was quick to deflect the spotlight to his team mates for putting him in the position to score the tries in the loss to Bristol.

Bainbridge became the first Carnegie player for over a decade to score five tries in a game and followed in the footsteps of the likes of Wendell Sailor, Jon Scales and Simon Middleton in achieving the feat.

Speaking after the game, the England U20 international said, "It was great to score the tries but it was the team who put me in the position to be able to be the one who put the ball down. I would have swapped the tries for a win but we need to build on this performance now next week against Moseley."
