Jack Lam will make his first appearance of the new season after returning from World Cup duty when Bristol host top-of-the-table Yorkshire Carnegie on Sunday (1.30pm KO).

The Samoan international comes straight into the back row after representing his country in all four Pool B fixtures.
Bristol make six changes from the side that beat Ealing Trailfinders as Ryan Edwards and Will Cliff return to the backline.

Joe Joyce and Rayn Smid are included for their first starts of the campaign, while Jack O'Connell is named in the front row.

Auguy Slowik (ankle) and Marc Jones (hip) are unavailable for selection.

Anthony Perenise is listed among the replacements and could make his first outing of the season after returning from World Cup duty with Samoa.
