The new Greene King IPA Championship season may only be one week old but Ryan Burrows says he and his Yorkshire Carnegie team mates know the intensity is going to lift this Sunday when they travel to face old rivals Rotherham.

Both teams go into the round two clash after hard fought wins last Sunday. Yorkshire came back from a half time deficit to secure a bonus point win over Jersey whilst Rotherham needed a last gasp kick to defeat newly promoted Ealing Trailfinders at home.

Burrows says both teams will be better for having got their first game of the season under their belts. He commented, "We know what to expect from Rotherham and we know just how tough a place Clifton Lane is to go to. We both had a win last week but I'm sure, like us, they will want to improve on their performance. There are quite a few new faces in both teams and it does take time for new squads to settle in however I think everyone knows what to expect in a passionate derby on Sunday."
