Yorkshire Carnegie will travel to local rivals Doncaster on Valentines weekend hoping to end a nightmare run at Castle Park after the Knights confirmed their kick off times for the Greene King IPA Championship today.

The dates and kick off times for the Knights 2015-16 Greene King IPA Championship at Castle Park have been confirmed.

All home games will be played on Saturday afternoons; predominantly at 14:30. The Knights welcome London Welsh to Castle Park for the first time since 2011-12 in round one of the Greene King IPA Championship though we have two exciting home pre-season contests to look forward to first.

British and Irish Cup fixtures are expected to be announced by the RFU in the weeks ahead.

Carnegie will be looking for their first win at Castle Park in a competitive fixture since a 30-16 win there back on 17th February 2007, almost nine years to the day when we will go back there in 2016.

Even when Carnegie did not play Doncaster at the ground they lost out to Nottingham on the opening day of the 2013-14 season. The run includes last season's 29-16 loss under Tommy McGee, a 23-17 defeat in 2012-13 during the season when the Knights were ultimately relegated and a 9-9 draw at Christmas in 2011. That same season, Carnegie also lost 24-22 in the British & Irish Cup at Castle Park. The Knights also inflicted one of only three defeats on Neil Back and Andy Key's promotion winning side, the first defeat of that 2008-09 season with a 27-12 win. In that period, the teams have also met twice in pre-season when the home side won 18-14 in 2010 before Carnegie narrowly defeated Doncaster, who were in National Division One at the time, 25-20.
