Worcester Warriors came back from 14 points behind with less than ten minutes to go to snatch a dramatic 30-30 draw with Bristol and book their return to the Aviva Premiership by a single point.

Bristol rallied in the second half and scored three unanswered tries to put them into a seemingly unassailable lead. However a penalty try and two sin binnings for the visitors set up a grand finale before Chris Pennell went over in the final second of the game. That gave Ryan Lamb the chance to book his side's promotion with the last kick off the game and the fly half duly slotted over his kick to kick off the celebrations at Sixways.

Both legs of the Final were a tremendous advert for the Greene King IPA Championship and Bristol will once again be looking to set the pace in the division next season. That now completes the line up for next season's competition with relegated London Welsh replacing Worcester whilst Ealing Trailfinders have been promoted to replace Plymouth Albion.
