Full back Christian Georgiou believes Yorkshire Carnegie can use the lessons of this season to make them even stronger for the challenges that lie ahead next season.

Georgiou was named in third place in the Players Player of the Year poll at the club's annual awards and he says he and his team mates have already set their sights on next season despite the last campaign being finished 48 hours previously.

Speaking at the annual awards, Georgiou said, "We have had some tough times this year but that has only brought us tighter as a unit, we stuck by each other this year and I think that will stand us in good stead next season. Bryan Redpath has come in and we have played some good stuff in the last six weeks so we will go into pre-season with a lot of enthusiasm and the desire to go even better next season."
