Yorkshire Carnegie forward Chris Jones crossed for a try for the Barbarians on Tuesday night as they helped Scottish club Heriots celebrate their 125th anniversary with an entertaining 97-31 victory for the invitational side.

One hundred and twenty eight points were scored on a glorious night at Goldenacre as Heriot's and the Barbarians came together to celebrate their 125th anniversaries in style.

In the end the select team, with a number of internationalists in their line-up including former Scotland caps Gordon Ross, Bruce Douglas and Scott MacLeod, were far too strong for the hosts in Edinburgh.

The Baa Baas ran in 15 tries to Heriot's five as they won 97-31, Jones scored in the second half in front of a crowd of 2,000.
