Yorkshire Carnegie tight-head prop Paul Hill is set to leave the club at the end of the season to join Aviva Premiership side Northampton Saints.

The 20 year old came through the Yorkshire Carnegie Academy and made his first team debut during the 2013-14 season against Plymouth.  This year he has been a regular in the first team, making a further 16 appearances.

A Junior World Championship winner in 2014, Hill started four of England’s five matches in their recent Six Nations winning campaign, including the championship decider in Brighton. These appearances were just the latest in Hill’s progression through the England Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 age groups.

Speaking about his move to Northampton Hill said: "I'm looking forward to challenging myself at one of the top clubs in Europe and learning from experienced international players,” he added.

"It's an exciting time for me and I can't wait to work hard and continue developing.

"I would also like to thank everyone at Yorkshire for the help and support they've given me over the years."
